Currently, following projects are being tested with a limited number of users under the supervision of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
“Azərbaycan Beynəlxalq Bankı” ASC
Murabaha within the framework of Islamic banking
Duration of testing: 01.04.2026 - 01.04.2027
The Islamic banking project presented by “Azerbaijan International Bank” OJSC envisages the financing of immovable property and movable property registered in official registries of resident legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in accordance with the principles of Islamic banking. The property is purchased by the bank and subsequently sold to the user at a pre-agreed price, with payments made according to an agreed schedule. During the testing period, the product is offered exclusively through bank branches, and the contractual terms are coordinated with the Central Bank.

“Rabitəbank” ASC
Mudaraba and Murabaha products within the framework of Islamic banking
Duration of testing: 02.02.2026 - 02.02.2027
The project proposed by “Rabitəbank” OJSC envisages the attraction of funds from legal entities and individuals on the basis of **Mudaraba**, in compliance with the principles of Islamic banking, and the financing of entrepreneurs’ fixed assets and working capital through the **Murabaha** mechanism. Investors’ funds are managed for a maximum period of 12 months, and profits or losses are distributed based on actual performance results. Within the framework of the project, requirements for transparency, quarterly reporting, and independent audit are applied.
“BİTAZN” MMC
Cryptocurrency exchange
Duration of testing: 16.02.2026 - 16.08.2026
The cryptocurrency exchange product presented by “BITAZN” LLC envisages the provision of financial services related to the exchange, transfer, and custody of cryptocurrency against the national currency and other cryptocurrencies for a limited group of users. The exchange permits transactions only in cryptocurrency that are listed on internationally regulated platforms. The transfer of cryptocurrency outside the platform is prohibited, and custody is ensured through solutions compliant with international security standards. Users are able to monitor prices in real time and use various trading instruments.
“Pasha Pay” MMC
Transfers to a crypto exchange wallet

This project by “PashaPay” LLC envisions the integration of the “m10” application with the “Binance” cryptocurrency platform. This innovative solution allows users to seamlessly fund their “manat” wallets on the “Binance” platform, facilitating secure and transparent cryptocurrency transactions.
“Unicapital İnvestisiya Şirkəti” ASC
CryptoBroker
Duration of testing: 09.12.2024 - 08.02.2026
The "Kriptobroker platform" presented by "Unicapital Investment Company" is a pilot project offering financial services for the easy and secure purchase, sale, and storage of virtual assets to a limited user group. The platform also allows users to track the prices of virtual assets and collaborates exclusively with licensed, regulated service providers.
